The Challenge

How do you communicate the complexity of youth-led advocacy, social norms, gender dynamics and sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) in a way that is clear, credible and compelling?

PYFI’s work in Marsabit addresses significant barriers to healthcare access for adolescents and youth, particularly girls and persons with disabilities. Its community-driven approach brings together young people, community members and local stakeholders to challenge harmful practices and strengthen understanding of SRHR.

Our Role

ChangeLens Africa supported the development of a strategic, evidence-led abstract that translated PYFI’s programme experience into a coherent development narrative.

We helped bring together the context, intervention, achievements, challenges, solutions and future direction into a structured story capable of communicating the significance of the work to a wider development audience.

Why It Matters

The case demonstrates an important principle behind our work: Development impact deserves communication that is as thoughtful as the work itself.
